Our official Chaplains Fellowship home page is at:www.ifgcf.orgIt does need updating, so for the most up-to-date info, the 2 blogs are best. They will all get hyperlinked together eventually, and the www.ifgcf.org website is to include down-loadable resources for chaplains; articles and news / encouragement from other chaplains and outreach workers, full time, voluntary and unofficial. A lot of chaplaincy work is carried out by believers in Christ who simply see within their secular job, becoming the "presence" of Christ to a hurting world. This is at the heart of "sacramental Christian faith" -- but read on, dear friend... With more space, I'd explain that this "Sacramental" model of service is not just the domain of a certain type of Christian, (normally people think of Catholic) but also embraces Protestants including new-church, Charismatic, Pentecostal (and Orthodox, of course). We ALL have much to offer this world -- and those around us in particular. The key ingredient is that our hearts honour the lordship of Jesus Christ, and that we seek to outwork our lives through His risen life. It is this an example of the type of thought that we will be exploring more on the official website I set up last year, (affiliated and accredited in UK and USA with the Full Gospel Fellowship of Churches and Ministers International) and that you, dear brother or sister disciple, are most welcome to discuss on this message board! - Chaplain John, [board owner] If you like this post, visit the expanded article on this board -- here's the link: chaplainscall.proboards54.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1140179265

Once our www.ifgcf.org website is current again, articles on the website will link into this discussion board in order that you can comment and add value from your own ministry experience. We will deal with spammers including those who post in an argumentative way: we are here to surrender to the Lordship of Christ, and to learn from Him. Within that remit, please do feel free to post your comments and articles; and also to invite friends to the board.
Blessings,
John R.
